Avon Health and Rehabilitation in Avon, IN is seeking a Laundry Aide to provide the full range of laundry services for residents and staff, ensuring clean linens and adherence to safety standards. The role supports a facility laundry program that aligns with quality assurance expectations and daily operations.

Formación

• The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc in excess of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to do constant walking, bending, lifting and standing for long periods during a scheduled shift.

Responsabilidades

• Laundry Aide is responsible for providing the full range of laundry services to the facility, staff and residents and to maintain a successful laundry program that meets facility quality assurance standards.
• Laundry Aide will follow established policies/procedures of laundry tasks.
• Use proper protocols for picking up soiled linens, including isolation linens, and transporting them to the laundry department.
• Use proper protective clothing/equipment while performing laundry duties.
• Laundry Aide will maintain all cleaning schedules for each assigned area and following the laundry department schedules.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure residents rights, privacy and property are protected at all times.
• Report and document resident and/or visitor incidents, accidents, complaints or allegations according to the facility’s policy and procedure using the designated occurrence reporting system.
