Northwestern Mutual invites college students to join its internship program as College Financial Representatives. You’ll begin building a financial planning practice with guidance and a Fortune 500 framework, gaining exposure to exclusive products and expert mentors.

You’ll balance classes with a flexible schedule, pursue licenses such as Series 6/63 or CFP, and explore leadership opportunities while preparing for future full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Full-time student; juniors and seniors preferred.
• Entrepreneurial ambitions and curiosity for sales.
• Highly involved on campus (leader, athlete, campus orgs, student government, etc).
• Interest in financial literacy and planning tools.

Responsabilités

• Learn prospecting and networking to build your business and client base.
• Develop and execute a business strategy.
• Call on potential clients and set meetings to understand their financial goals.
• Prepare plans and offer useful recommendations.
• Gain exposure to proprietary planning software platforms.
• Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
• Receive Risk Product State Licensing: Life, Accident, and Health.
