Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking full-time engineers to join our Engineering Development Program (EDP) for Summer 2027 at the Alabama River Cellulose mill in Perdue Hill, AL. The program provides accelerated training, mentorship, and exposure to operations leadership in a real-world setting.

Entry-level engineers will work on significant projects, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to safety, efficiency, and innovation while developing their professional skills within a global Koch company

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program)
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship
• Eligible for full-time employment in Summer 2027

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Engineering Development Program (EDP) with training and mentorship
• Gain real-world, hands-on experience on industry projects within the Alabama River Cellulose mill
• Contribute to safety, process improvement, and compliance initiatives while learning under experienced engineers
