Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Columbus, Ohio is seeking candidates for the Personal Banker I track. Selected candidates will complete a 4-8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, plus a certification upon completion.

The Personal Banker I is a Financial Center role focused on consultative sales to identify and meet financial needs, acquiring new households and deepening relationships through lobby leadership and tele-consulting.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire customers.
• Understands financial products and risk considerations.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at employment.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to build customer profiles and identify needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and recommend solutions.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and set appointments for reviews.
• Collaborate with business partners to provide holistic solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals.
• Assist in opening/closing processes as directed.
