Job summary

United Launch Alliance seeks a Launch Vehicle Propulsion Engineer to perform dual roles with Design and Analysis teams, supporting propulsion fluids systems and space vehicle integration. You will generate and review engineering data, assist with trade studies, and help ensure design integrity across propulsion components.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or physics and familiarity with aerospace design concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or related STEM field.
• Familiarity with aerospace mechanical design and fluids/structures concepts.
• Strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Clear communication and scheduling skills.
• Experience with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support propulsion engineering design and analysis for space launch vehicles.
• Ensure design and manufacturing processes meet vehicle and subsystem requirements.
• Perform system integration and trade studies for manufacturability and performance.
• Review 3D layouts, models and drawings for propulsion components.
• Develop design improvements to reduce cost, risk, or increase reliability.
