Job summary

Slate in Warsaw, Indiana seeks a Technical Program Manager II – Launch to drive launch readiness and quality across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. You will own launch dashboards, track metrics, and report to executives while guiding cross-functional teams through the ramp-up process.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive launch, strong leadership, and experience with APQP/PPAP/FMEA, Lean, and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
• 3-5 years of automotive manufacturing, launch, quality, or program management experience.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead launch issue management, deviation reduction, and readiness reviews.
• Drive accountability across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Own launch dashboards, quality metrics, and executive reporting.
• Lead escalation and recovery planning for critical launch risks.
• Coordinate containment and corrective action strategies.
• Facilitate senior leadership reviews and decision-making forums.
• Coach and mentor Program Management Analysts.
