Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a hands-on Launch & Test Engineer for the Orbital Launch Site in Cape Canaveral. You will test, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot ground support equipment and test‑enabling hardware across cryogenic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

You’ll sit on the front-room console for GS2 test campaigns and collaborate across engineering, QA, and supply chain. The role demands strong avionics foundation, system safety focus, and ability to work across multiple

Qualifications

• Experience operating avionics for cryogenics, fluids, or propulsion test stands.
• Real-time console operations experience with anomaly response.
• Hands-on HIL/HITL, EGSE, telemetry, harnessing integration.
• Ability to read schematics and P&IDs.
• Willingness to work off-shift and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities for orbital rockets and launch vehicles.
• Generate and execute procedures for high-pressure gas, cryogenic, and fluid systems.
• Collaborate with technicians to perform maintenance and test operations.
• Review data to assess facility health and performance at system and component levels.
• Develop test documentation and work instructions for ground and test systems.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
