Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner (Launch Site) to manage inventory targets, coordinate demand and supply signals, and ensure on-time delivery of production parts. Qualifications

• Advanced degree; or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; or 6+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, planning, or supply chain management.
• Experience with SQL in business analysis or ERP system support is preferred.
• Familiarity with datasheets, drawings, and blueprints is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory targets, review balances, align demand signals, maintain product master data and reports.
• Mitigate risk with a robust supply plan ensuring on-time, quality product delivery.
• Execute MRP planning messages for production parts.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and NPI teams on supplier strategies, lead times, and should-cost analyses.
• Drive DFx reviews with supplier quality and engineering support.
• Lead value engineering projects to improve part quality and reduce cost.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and visit supplier facilities to assess capability.
