Job summary

SpaceX in Cape Canaveral, FL seeks a Supply Chain Planner (Launch Site) to manage inventory, align demand and supply signals, and support the launch manifest with data-driven planning.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and procurement to optimize lead times, cost, and supplier performance while navigating ITAR requirements; travel up to 35% and on-site presence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management.
• 1+ years experience using SQL in business analysis, ERP systems support
• Experience reading datasheets, drawings, and blueprints
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory level targets, review line of balances, align demand supply signals and allocations, maintain product master data.
• Mitigate risk and ensure continuity of supply by constructing and executing a well thought out supply plan.
• Execute MRP planning messages for production parts.
• Be the “go to” resource for engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and NPI teams for supplier decisions.
• Drive design for manufacturability reviews with support from supplier quality and engineering.
• Champion value-add and value engineering projects to improve part quality and reduce cost.
• Mitigate sole/single source risk and ensure continuity of supply.
• Proactively update SpaceX management and engineering teams on critical supply issues.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Visit supplier facilities to assess capability, equipment, and capacity.
• Execute MRP planning messages for production parts.
• Resolve PO discrepancies and invoice issues.
• Analyze procurement data and report metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and government regulations
