Job summary

Baltimore Air Coil is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Project Leader to design, implement, and lead the end-to-end supply chain model for major plant startups and strategic initiatives. You will partner with Product Owners, site leadership, and regional/global teams to drive readiness of supplier, material, and systems for a successful launch and ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, materials management, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading plant startups or large-scale operational changes.
• Broad knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, procurement, production planning, MRP, capacity planning, SIOP, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and material handling.
• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated supply chain, logistics, and procurement readiness plan aligned with project scope, operating model, implementation timeline, production ramp, and business objectives.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, qualification, and onboarding with cross-functional partners.
• Ensure supplier agreements, terms, service expectations, and contract requirements are understood and monitored.
• Develop raw material and component sourcing strategies to meet cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and continuity requirements.
• Lead production planning readiness including MRP, capacity planning, inventory parameters, scheduling, and integration with SIOP.
• Establish inbound/outbound transportation strategies including carrier readiness and schedules.
• Develop warehousing, material flow, and finished goods strategies for safe, efficient operations.
• Define equipment, space, labor, and process requirements for receiving, storage, and shipment.
• Lead SAP readiness for supply chain and scheduling processes including master data and user readiness.
• Establish inventory strategy for launch and ramp including safety stock and supplier-held inventory.
• Lead organizational readiness and change management for new supply chain processes.
• Coordinate end-to-end supply chain testing and launch readiness activities.
• Identify and mitigate supply, capacity, logistics, inventory, and system risks.
• Create and manage the integrated Supply Chain project plan with milestones and risks.
• Establish performance measures and readiness criteria for supplier, material, inventory, and logistics.
• Build capability and readiness of the Supply Chain organization through talent development and onboarding.
• Ensure a disciplined transition from project execution to sustained site ownership.
