Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA) seeks a Product Testing Manager to lead end-to-end testing and validation of next-generation smart devices across smartphones, tablets, and wearables, ensuring carrier approvals ahead of launch.

In this cross-functional role, you will drive the Master Launch Checklist, align Product Management, Supply Chain, Packaging, and Sales for on-time market entry, and run weekly carrier alignment sessions to mitigate risks and resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years with a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Related work experience in Product Testing, Product Engineering, Business Planning, Product Development, or Consulting.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience within telecom sector and related wireless ecosystem (hardware, OS/software, app developers, service providers, carrier software, etc).
• Must have an understanding of consumer mobile products (smartphone, tablet, and/or wearables).
• Demonstrated success in managing product launch testing and meeting key deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carrier Technical Acceptance (TA) & Approval: Manage end-to-end testing and validation for smart devices to secure carrier approvals ahead of launch.
• Launch Readiness & Cross-Functional Orchestration: Drive the Master Launch Checklist and align Product Management, Supply Chain, Packaging, and Sales for on-time mobile device commercialization.
• Carrier Alignment & Technical Triage: Lead weekly alignment meetings with wireless carriers to track testing schedules and resolve technical issues.
