Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking a New Model Quality Project Leader I to develop and implement quality strategies for new model goals for SXS products produced at SCM.

You will provide direct project leadership to the SCM quality-related departments and drive QA initiatives. The role requires 1–3 years of project leadership, strong knowledge of quality planning, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams, SAPs, and design changes in collaboration with R&D.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in related field.
• 1–3 years project leadership experience.
• Experience in PSP manufacturing quality, and/or quality division functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality related activities to include development of quality goals and targets and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide direction and support of quality planning activities including SAP development and evaluation.
• Ensure timely maturation of product specification and coordinate design change with R&D.
• Lead quality project problem solving and countermeasure activity balancing development QCD.
• Confirm quality readiness for new model launch and coordinate readiness reporting.
