Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Power Systems Engineer for the Starship Launch Pad at Starbase, TX. You will own power distribution, SCADA, and grid infrastructure for a high-power launch complex, collaborating with mechanical, controls, and fluids engineers.

You will lead design, analysis, and field commissioning, ensuring safe, reliable power for mission-critical pad equipment while navigating tight deadlines and challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in power systems design, analysis, and build.
• PE license or intention to actively pursue license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for Starship launch pad and Starbase power systems.
• Develop protective relay settings and studies (load, short-circuit, arc-flash).
• Coordinate with utilities to ensure reliable power for pad equipment.
