Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Power Systems Engineer for Starship Launch Pad at Starbase, TX. You will own power distribution, high‑power infrastructure, and sitewide power budgets, collaborating with mechanical, controls, and fluids engineers to enable reliable rocket power during design, build, activation and operations.

You will design protective relays, perform load flow and fault studies, and coordinate with utilities to ensure mission-critical equipment has power when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for Starship launch pad and Starbase power systems, including power distribution, motor control, microgrids, and supporting infrastructure
