Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Controls Technician for the Starship Launch Pad at Starbase, TX. You will lead wiring installation, troubleshoot ground support equipment, and collaborate with launch engineers to resolve issues during launches.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical control systems, sensors, and wiring in demanding launch environments, with readiness for extended hours and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1+ year experience wiring, installing or troubleshooting electrical control systems.
• Experience with sensors, data acquisition, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, datasheets, drawings and sketches.
• Adjust, repair or replace faulty components of ground hardware and test equipment.
• Fabricate and install parts and systems using hand/power tools and test instruments.
• Connect and verify sensors and wiring, including pressure transducers and thermocouples.
• Install connectors, pins, terminals and lugs and wire electrical ground systems.
• Collaborate with launch engineers to troubleshoot issues from launch activities.
• Lay out, build, test, and modify wiring of electronics racks and junction boxes.
• Perform maintenance across vehicle integration, pad maintenance and site upkeep.
