Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Project Manager for STARSHIP launch pad construction and related facilities work. You will plan, coordinate, and execute build and renovation projects at launch sites, interfacing with engineers, designers, facilities, vendors, and customers to drive progress from start to finish.

You will lead scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and approvals while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance to SpaceX standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, architecture, or construction management.
2+ years of professional experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, and/or facilities management.

Responsibilities

Manage construction and maintenance projects at SpaceX launch pads from planning through completion.
Coordinate vendors to meet SpaceX standards and obtain approvals; facilitate city, county, and governmental permits.
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and RFP documents; oversee proposals and contracts.
Ensure on-time, under-budget delivery and safe, compliant site operations.
Coordinate project communications across multiple levels and maintain documentation.
