Job summary

Via seeks a Launch Operations Principal to lead the rollout of new, complex services across markets, owning technology and operational transitions, service performance, partner relationships, and a 30+ frontline team. You will set up Via’s newest services in high-visibility markets, building new operational systems from the ground up.

This unique leadership role is ideal for a generalist eager to blend strategy, operations, and product/technology with travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own and launch new Via services from technology implementation to operational setup.
• Define KPIs for on-time performance, rider satisfaction, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Translate performance data into actionable decisions on a weekly basis.
• Lead a 30+ frontline team during launches, including hiring and coaching.
• Manage transit agency partnerships and community stakeholder relations.
• Drive continuous improvement in vehicle operations, maintenance, and service delivery.
• Influence the product roadmap for new service lines.
