We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support product launches of the F-150 program. In this role, you will deliver manufacturing processes and tools from concept through implementation, ensuring all workstations and processes meet stringent quality, safety, and manufacturing efficiency standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - including manufacturing engineering, quality, and program management - to ensure seamless integration of new tooling into production while meeting aggressive program timelines.
Create, modify, and update program-specific process sheets.
Perform DPA5 checks and raise identified part or process issues to the program team.
Repeat checks as D&R CAD matures through UNV2.
Support establishing the virtual build sequence and virtual builds.
Support P-Release.
Complete design-phase Health Chart assessments.
Create and update PFMEAs to support the Conformance Letter.
Support development and sign-off of the Special Characteristics Cascade and Agreement Form (SCCAF).
Develop program cost analyses from Vignette through PA.
Define tooling and equipment needs, including:
Support cycle-line layout development and the workstation engineering work stream.
Support simulation development by providing benchmark data for equipment availability, MTTR, and MTBF.
Adhere to the master schedule.
Work with the Facility team to identify needs.
Develop tooling design and build statements of work (SOWs).
Develop process RFQs and kick off supplier POs; reassign POs to the PI team at FDJ.
Lead pre-FDJ shop buy-offs.
Support preproduction prototype builds.
Document and resolve build issues.

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 and ranges from $74,300-$166,200. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value. Internal applicants: moving into this role may result in an adjustment to your current compensation based on the posted pay range for this role, taking into consideration your qualifications and other relevant factors.
