Job summary

Acuren is seeking entry level NDT Technicians to support operations in Decatur, AL. This will be a callout/travel position.

NDT Assistants will help perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and recording results. Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting Radiographers with calibration, conducting tests to detect defects, recording results, and performing other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Must pass drug/alcohol and background screens per client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods of inspection.
• Record results of inspections.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
