Job summary

Stoke Space is seeking a Launch High Power Engineer to design and commission a new launch pad and support ground systems at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. You will own the electrical architecture, develop detailed power distribution designs, and lead external designers, vendors, and contractors through construction and commissioning.

You will work in a fast-paced, mission-driven team, focusing on safety, reliability, and performance while navigating ITAR requirements and collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to lead external designers, vendors, and contractors

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and drive overall High-Power architecture & build strategy for ground systems
• Develop electrical designs and specs for power distribution, switchgear, lighting, UPS, generators, and control systems
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting electrical equipment and conduct load-flow analysis
• Ensure interfaces with mechanical systems and compliance with codes and budgets
• Coordinate with utility personnel and oversee project activities and commissioning
