MGX Equipment Services in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Field Mechanic to service lattice boom and mobile cranes on-site, reporting to the Service Manager. You will interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, run diagnostics, and implement safe, effective fixes, then complete inspection checklists and update work orders and time sheets.

You will inspect and repair mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes, perform annual inspections, and document results.

Competenze

• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in electrical and hydraulic systems.
• History of preventative maintenance and light repairs (oil changes, brake work, etc.).
• Up to 50% travel for jobsites and training.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Background with mobile cranes or heavy equipment is advantageous.

From our Winston Salem, NC branch, you’ll be the on-site expert customers rely on—reporting to the Service Manager and bringing cranes back to peak performance.Imagine thisA contractor’s boom truck throws a fault mid-project. You arrive, interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, run diagnostics, and implement a safe, effective fix. You complete the inspection checklist, update the work order and time sheet, and walk the customer through what you found.
