Essential Responsibilities
This position is responsible for operating machines that fabricate parts. This position also possesses knowledge of various manufacturing machines, process operations and product I.D. for CL/TL and AA/AL.
Key Tasks / Primary Responsibilities
- Reviews specifications by reading process standards to determine machine adjustments and material requirements; determines accuracy of machine operations by measuring workpiece dimensions; observes machines and detects workpiece defects and machine malfunctions; handles scrap/rework products properly.
- Operates machines to meet or exceed daily production targets; activates the machine through buttons; completes all necessary documents in a clear and timely manner; reports any problems with machines to management in a timely manner; performs any other functions to tend to machines.
- Operates machine and covers breakout as assigned from supervisor on a daily basis; requires knowledge of changeover process for multiple machines.
- Manages startup and complete for lot management properly.
Education / Certifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must have two years experience in a manufacturing and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Must understand and practice the basic manufacturing fundamentals of NAMI, including 3S check system, 5S, control-by-looking, poka-yoke, safety, company policy, and quality policy.
- Must be skilled with knowledge of many different manufacturing machines, process operations, and product I.D.
- Must be able to identify possible safety problems and report accordingly.
- Experience preferred in the operation of at least one machine in the following grades: Grade 4, or Grade 5 or equivalent manufacturing experience.
