Position Overview
Manufacturing Latter Process Utility Operator reporting to Manufacturing Latter Senior Supervisor in the Manufacturing department. Responsible for operating machines that fabricate parts and ensuring production meets standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review specifications and process standards to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Measure workpiece dimensions and detect defects or machine malfunctions, supporting scrap/rework processes.
- Operate machines to meet or exceed daily production targets, activate machines, complete required documentation, and report issues to management.
- Assist with machine changeover, startup, and completion for lot management as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least two years of manufacturing experience or equivalent education and experience.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Time and resource management to maximize productivity and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication with management via meetings, verbal or written reports to prevent confusion.
- Knowledge of quality, cost, and safety standards; ability to report violations and wear proper PPE.
- Team collaboration, flexibility, and willingness to cover for other staff and accept feedback.
- Commitment to professional development and technical knowledge through certifications and training.
- Professional conduct, appearance, and effective communication.
- Training and assisting new hires.

Additional Skills
- Tactful, mature, flexible under multiple work pressures.
- Knowledge of manufacturing fundamentals such as NAMI, 3S, 5S, Control‑By‑Looking, poka‑yoke, safety, company policy, and quality policy.
- Proficiency with multiple manufacturing machines and processes.
- Identification and report of potential safety problems.
- Preferred experience operating Grade 4 or Grade 5 machines.
Language and Mathematical Skills
- English verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Basic mathematics with minimum, maximum, average calculations.
