Job summary

White Bear Lake Area School District is seeking a Spanish-speaking liaison to support students, families and staff. The role focuses on translating for meetings, enrollment support, and connecting families with district services.

Working 0.6 FTE across 204 school days, this position reports to the Director of Equity and Engagement and aims to strengthen home–school partnerships and equity for Spanish/Latino students and families in the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with diverse communities and student populations preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to translate and interpret in school settings.

Responsibilities

• Bridge communication between Spanish-speaking families and school staff.
• Translate for meetings and enrollment-related processes as needed.
• Support enrollment and connect families with district programs and resources.
• Collaborate with principals and multilingual staff to promote equity and engagement.
• Assist with community-building activities and family outreach initiatives.
