Job Summary

Individual will utilize ProtoTRAK Lathe equipment and have the capability of turning, reaming, boring, facing, and threading parts according to a part print specification.

Hours Of Operations

Monday through Friday + overtime and weekends as needed

1st Shift: 6AM to 230PM

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing environment - exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.
• Depending on which location, our environments can be very warm or refrigerated.
• Team environment - must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
• Ability to stand up to 80% of the time scheduled
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted and 40-75 lbs. assisted.
• Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.
  
  

Experience With

ProtoTRAK Lathe including Setup and Programming

Position Requirements

• At least 1 year of machining experience, or applicable apprenticeship, trade school, or community college program
• Selecting proper tooling, feeds, and speeds for applicable materials
• Able to read blueprints, understand GD&T and offsets.
• Operate vertical metal cutting saws
• Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Experience using gauges, calipers, dial indicators, and micrometers
• Experience on other CNC machines such as Milltronics and Haas would be a plus.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be knowledgeable in GMPs and the HACCP program or willing to learn
• Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and write in English preferred.
