Job summary

Inline Filling Systems, LLC in Palmetto, LA seeks a Lathe Operator to program and run automatic lathes and step in on a manual lathe when needed. You will interpret blueprints, measure parts, and ensure quality to spec.

Qualifications

• Adept at using small hand and power tools.
• Strong Understanding of blueprint reading and machining principles.
• Good paperwork and counting skills.
• Attention to details and a commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of shop measurement.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, sit, and stand repeatedly.
• Able to work independently and as a part of the team.

Join our team as a Lathe Operator and play a key role in producing custom precision parts for a leading manufacturer. We're looking for someone with experience of programming and operating automatic lathes, who can also step in on a manual lathe when needed.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up, program, and operate lathes to produce custom metal parts to spec.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate part production.
• Perform quality checks using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Adjust tooling and machine settings as needed to maintain part accuracy.
