Job summary

Staub Machine Company, Inc. seeks a CNC Lathe Operator to set up and perform machining operations on precision parts in a modern, highly automated shop.

You will contribute to a move into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility by the end of 2026, working with advanced robotics and automation paired with machining centers. Ideal candidates will have experience with machine setup or be eager to train; a strong attitude, punctuality, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine setup is helpful, but training can be provided.
• Must have a great attitude, be punctual, and highly detail oriented.
• GD&T is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and visual instructions with supervision as needed.
• Utilize inspection equipment to verify part quality and accuracy.

Job description

We are seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to be responsible for setting up and performing various machining operations on a wide range of parts.

You’ll be working in a modern, clean, and highly automated shop—and we’re preparing to move into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility by the end of 2026. Our machines are equipped with advanced features and robotics, supporting high-volume and precision manufacturing.

• Operate lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
• Follow written and visual instructions, utilizing direct supervision as needed to complete tasks accurately.
• Utilize advanced inspection equipment to verify the quality and accuracy of machined parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Work to improve efficiency and improve quality on existing machining projects.
• Work independently and with team members to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
• Maintain company quality and safety standards, record keeping, and equipment.
• Will have opportunity to work with advanced robotics and other automation that is paired with machining centers.

Qualifications:

• Experience with machine setup is helpful, but also more than willing to train an operator into a machinist.
• Should possess a great attitude, punctual, strong attention to detail and able to learn quickly.
