Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist III who delivers high-precision components for aerospace and defense applications. You will work with CNC lathes and milling capabilities to achieve tight tolerances and complex geometry, applying G‑Code and GD&T drawings with minimal supervision.

The role offers a $3,500 sign‑on bonus, with eligibility between July 20, 2026 and September 11, 2026. Candidates should have 4+ years of CNC lathe/mill experience and knowledge of Fanuc controls

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, English literacy required.
• 4+ years of CNC Machinist experience, preferably on lathes/mills.
• Knowledge of G-Code.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus.
• Knowledge of B axis Mill Turns with main and sub spindle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-ups and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometry.
• Inspect all work, set up or adjust gauging equipment, detect deviations and errors.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches and operation sheets.
