Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Lathe Machinist III - 2nd Shift to operate CNC lathes with milling capabilities and produce high-precision components for aerospace and industrial customers.

You will perform set-ups, run parts to close tolerances, and inspect work with gauges while interpreting complex drawings and GD&T. A $3,500 sign-on bonus is available with qualifying dates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• At least 4 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist, with milling capabilities.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of G-Code; Fanuc controls knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work under minimum supervision and help plan work within the cell.
• Set up and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances.
• Inspect all work, set up gauges, detect deviations, and interpret blueprints including GD&T.
