Moog Inc. is seeking a Lathe Machinist III for the 2nd shift in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on running CNC lathes with milling capabilities to produce high-precision parts for aerospace and industrial customers.

You’ll interpret complex drawings and GD&T while maintaining quality and efficiency. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, a 2nd shift differential, and a sign-on bonus with relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 4+ years of CNC lathe machining experience.
• Experience with G-Code and Fanuc controls.
• Knowledge of B axis Miller with main/sub spindle is a plus.
• Ability to read GD&T and complex drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes with milling capability to tight tolerances and complex geometry.
• Inspect work using gauging equipment and detect deviations.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T data, and operation sheets.
• Assist planning within the cell and solve problems with minimal supervision.
