Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Lathe Machinist II to set up and operate CNC/manual lathes, delivering precision components for high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; able to follow English instructions.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist.
• Demonstrated ability to hold tight tolerances and read complex drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances and finish quality parts.
• Inspect work and verify using gaging equipment; detect deviations and errors in blueprints.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T; follow operation sheets and ensure precision.
