This Machinist I role is in the Military Aircraft Group, working on high-precision components for programs like F-35 and MQ-25.

The position offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus and on-site work in Buffalo, NY. You will perform CNC lathe operations, inspect parts, and read complex drawings with GD&T.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and apply English verbal/written/work instructions.
• 1 year experience as a general machinist or CNC certification/training program completion.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• In accordance with FAA regulations, enrollment in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program is required.
• Familiarity using measuring equipment including micrometers and dial bore gauges.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-ups and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometry.
• Inspect all work performed, set up or adjust gauging equipment, detect unusual conditions and deviations.
• Interpret complex drawings including GD&T blueprints, sketches and operation sheets.
