Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Set-Up Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC lathe setup, programming adjustments, and troubleshooting. Experience with Mazak lathes and Mazatrol programming is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce parts to exact specifications.

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine setup requirements.

• Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials.

• Perform machine adjustments, tool offsets, and program edits as needed.

• Conduct first-piece inspections and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production quality and efficiency.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and meet production deadlines.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Mazak lathes and Mazatrol programming is a strong plus.

• 3+ years of experience in CNC lathe setup and operation.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
