TURBOCAM International is seeking a Machinist to advance your CNC lathe skills in aerospace, rocketry, and power-generation components. You will set up live-tooling lathes, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineers to turn complex designs into high-quality parts.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years CNC lathe experience including basic setup.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5.
• Basic understanding of trigonometry and machining calculations.
• Associate degree in machining or completion of an approved apprenticeship preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with ERP software such as Epicor is helpful.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry 30 pounds or more.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate live-tooling CNC lathes for prototype and production work.
• Produce precision-machined components that meet exact quality and dimensional requirements.
• Perform basic CAD/CAM operations and make routine machining adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, and technical documentation.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools.
• Work with engineers, programmers, and the tooling department to identify the cutting tools, fixtures, and machining approach needed for each project.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot concerns, and partner with Maintenance to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain assigned fixtures, tooling, machine setups, and inspection documentation.
• Perform routine daily machine maintenance.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop while coordinating the use of shared equipment with other machinists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
