Job summary

RugPadUSA in Suffield, CT is seeking a Latex Line Assistant Manager to support daily production on the latex line, supervise staff, and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality output. You will work closely with the Latex Line Manufacturing Manager to coordinate workflow, train staff, and maintain accurate records.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Lead, supervise or manage teams.
Ability to operate and understand production equipment and processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Responsibilities

Assist the Line Manager with daily production planning, staffing, and workflow coordination.
Supervise and support production employees throughout the shift.
Monitor production quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Assign employees to workstations and adjust staffing as needed.
Train new employees on equipment operation, procedures, quality requirements, and safety.
Monitor performance and provide coaching when necessary.
Inspect materials and finished products for defects or quality issues.
Track production output, downtime, waste, and other metrics.
Complete required production paperwork and maintain shift records.
Enforce safety policies and proper PPE usage.
