Ultimate Solutions Search is seeking a Director of Lateral Recruiting Operations for a growing law firm. This role centers on operational coordination, process improvement, and strategic alignment with firm leadership to drive efficient lateral partner hiring.

The successful candidate will manage complex workflows, coordinate with practice groups and admin teams, and implement scalable processes that support rapid expansion while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in legal recruitment or recruiting operations in a law firm or legal search firm.
• Experience managing lateral partner recruiting processes including evaluations, questionnaires, financial reviews, and approvals.
• Strong understanding of law firm operations and lateral hiring complexities.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to work with law firm partners, practice group leaders, and senior admins.
• Proficiency with recruitment databases, ATS, CRM, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of lateral partner and practice group recruiting initiatives.
• Coordinate recruiting workflow from candidate consideration through onboarding.
• Develop and maintain organized recruiting workflows, pipelines, and tracking systems.
• Coordinate multiple simultaneous searches with clear timelines and accountability.
• Maintain recruiting reports and pipeline updates for firm leadership.
• Prepare interviewing and internal approval processes.
• Coordinate interviews, evaluations, and internal approvals.
