Job summary

King & Spalding LLP, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Lateral Partner Recruiting Coordinator to join in our Atlanta, Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC offices. The role focuses on coordinating interview schedules for lateral partner candidates and handling logistics for interviews, with hours extending to 6pm ET or occasionally 7pm ET.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate with lawyers, candidates, admin staff and external contacts.
• Facilitation and organizational skills to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; recruiting experience in professional services a plus.
• Willingness to work through 6pm ET and/or 7pm ET as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and coordinates multiple candidate interview schedules weekly.
• Coordinates virtual interviews by Microsoft Teams.
• Prepares and sends candidate pre-interview materials and reminders.
• Sends interview evaluation forms and tracks completion.
• Coordinates candidate travel and catering for in-person interviews.
• Greets candidates and coordinates with Recruiting Directors during visits.
• Works across domestic and international offices.
• Maintains lateral partner tracking sheets and generates reports.
• Ensures candidates are entered into Lawcruit accurately.
• Coordinates with headhunters and maintains search firm agreements.
• Processes expense reimbursements and invoices.
• Standard hours through 6pm or 7pm ET; additional duties as requested.
