Job summary

WilmerHale is seeking an experienced integration lead to drive the onboarding of lateral partners and senior lawyers. You will coordinate sponsorship, align with Clients & Markets, and ensure a smooth transition while embedding new hires into the firm’s culture, operations, and business development platform.

The role emphasizes managing cross‑functional teams, delivering high‑quality service, and driving practice growth through collaboration with practice groups and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum eight+ years in a law firm or professional services setting.
• Direct experience in business development, lateral recruiting and/or attorney development.

Responsibilities

• Drives firmwide integration planning for lateral partners and senior lawyers with a focus on marketing and business development.
• Serves as internal point of contact from pre-arrival through the first 18 months, coordinating resources.
• Collaborates with leadership and practice groups to identify integration priorities and tailor strategies.
• Builds trust-based relationships and coaches laterals on marketing and client development tactics.
• Plans integration action items and coordinates with Clients & Markets teams to ensure progress.
• Convenes integration teams regularly to discuss status, address blockers and maintain momentum.
