Job summary

WilmerHale is seeking a Manager of Lateral Partner Recruitment in Boston to drive growth through identifying, recruiting, hiring, and integrating lateral partners and partner-level groups. You will partner with leadership, practice groups, and external search consultants to run the recruitment lifecycle with high professionalism.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience, including 2+ years in legal recruiting.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic hiring opportunities and coordinate partner outreach.
• Manage relationships with preferred legal search firms and coordinate submissions.
• Oversee communications among candidates, recruiters, and firm leadership with confidentiality.
• Schedule candidate interviews across multiple offices and practice groups.
• Maintain pipeline and track market trends, using firm data and directories.
• Support end-to-end recruitment processes and candidate experience.
• Prepare materials for Partner Admissions/Management Committee.
• Maintain recruiting CRM records and generate reports for leadership.
• Assist Director with market research and trend analysis.
