Litigation Partner (Lateral) – 10+ years of experience required. Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000 base, commensurate with experience and portable business.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Partner with 10+ years of sophisticated litigation experience to join our growing practice. This is a strategic lateral opportunity for an attorney who wants to play a meaningful role in the future of the firm. As part of our long-term succession planning, several senior partners are approaching retirement, creating an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished litigator to step into a leadership role, expand their practice, and help shape the next generation of the firm.

The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage complex matters from strategy through trial. A portable book of business is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution or trial
• Serve as lead counsel in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and trials
• Develop litigation strategies and oversee case management
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while expanding the firm’s client base
• Mentor and supervise associates and junior attorneys
• Collaborate with firm leadership on practice growth and strategic initiatives

Ideal Experience

• Extensive experience in business litigation
• Experience handling probate or trust litigation matters
• Trial experience and demonstrated ability to manage complex disputes
• Portable book of business or demonstrated ability to develop client relationships

Desirable but Not Required

Experience in labor and employment litigation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership and good standing with the applicable state bar
• 10+ years of litigation experience at a law firm or similar environment
• Strong courtroom presence, strategic thinking, and case management skills
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and business development initiatives
