Job summary

McGuireWoods is seeking a Lateral Attorney Recruiting Specialist to lead non-partner attorney searches, coordinate direct sourcing strategies, and manage candidate pipelines from sourcing through onboarding. The role partners with recruiting managers, attorneys, search firms, and candidates to deliver an efficient and exceptional recruiting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of attorney/legal recruiting experience.
• Experience using Firm Prospects, LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
• Ability to coordinate complex searches and manage candidate pipelines in fast-paced settings.
• Strong organizational, analytical and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead non-partner lateral attorney recruiting searches from position approval through onboarding.
• Develop and execute direct sourcing strategies across multiple channels.
• Review candidate materials and conduct initial conversations about qualifications and interests.
• Manage candidate pipelines, interview processes, offers and onboarding activities.
• Serve as primary contact for search firms and build strong working relationships.
• Provide guidance to the Lateral Attorney Recruiting Assistant on priorities and scheduling.
• Stay informed on legal recruiting trends and sourcing technologies.
