Amentum in Forest Park, GA seeks a Latent Print Examiner to support forensic and intelligence exploitation, including processing prints, analysis, and documentation.

The role requires experience in latent print processing, ACE-V, Adobe Photoshop, and access to DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance; travel to austere environments up to six months. The package includes health/dental/vision, 401(k) matching and education reimbursement.

Competenze

• One year of experience in a forensic laboratory performing latent print processing and comparisons.
• Thorough knowledge of ACE-V methodology.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and related software.
• Experience using national databases such as AFIS/ABIS.
• Experience in technical and administrative case file review.
• Must have 20/20 vision (correctable) with no color vision deficiencies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and US passport.

Mansioni

• Process evidence to develop latent prints using standard laboratory procedures.
• Identify, label, and photograph latent prints on evidence.
• Photograph each latent print using proper photographic equipment and techniques.
• Analyze latent prints in Adobe Photoshop to determine suitability and submit to a database.
• Compare latent prints to known prints and make conclusions.
• Document examination results in the WEAT database.
• Annotate the case file documentation detailing the processing techniques and results.
• Interpret results for forensic and/or intelligence exploitation.
• Perform administrative and technical reviews of reports for fellow examiners.
• Maintain chain of custody.
• Mix chemicals as required and perform quality checks on instruments and reagents.
• Maintain a clean laboratory and personal workspace environment.
• Perform duties in austere environments for up to 6 months at a time.
