Amentum is seeking a Latent Print Examiner in Forest Park, GA to process evidence and develop latent prints for CONUS/OCONUS missions. The role encompasses identification, photography, analysis in Photoshop, and database submission, with strict chain-of-custody requirements.

Candidates should have ACE-V proficiency, experience in forensic casework, and familiarity with AFIS/ABIS databases. The position offers extensive field deployment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a forensic laboratory performing latent print processing and comparisons.
• Thorough knowledge of ACE-V methodology.
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and national databases (AFIS/ABIS).

Responsibilities

• Process evidence to develop latent prints using standard laboratory procedures.
• Identify, label, and photograph latent prints on evidence.
• Photograph each latent print using proper photographic equipment and techniques.
• Analyze latent prints in Adobe Photoshop to determine suitability and submit to a database.
• Compare latent prints to known prints and make conclusions.
• Document all examination results/findings in the WEAT database.
• Annotate the case file documentation detailing processing techniques and results.
• Interpret results for forensic and/or intelligence exploitation.
• Maintain proper chain of custody.
