Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Cookie Crew Member to join our fast-paced bakery in Lake Charles, LA. You’ll welcome guests, bake and package warm cookies, and ensure accurate in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

You’ll operate the register, help restock, and resolve guest concerns with empathy. If you enjoy energetic environments and making someone's day sweeter, you’ll fit right in at Insomnia Cookies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality and make every interaction memorable.
• Prepare, bake, and package our warm cookies, brownies, ice cream, and other treats to Insomnia's quality standards.
• Accurately prepare in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe throughout every shift.
• Jump in wherever your team needs you, whether that's restocking supplies, helping a teammate, or keeping the line moving.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and urgency, partnering with your Shift Leader when needed.
• Deliver the kind of experience that turns first-time guests into lifelong Insomniacs.
