Aegon Asset Management seeks an Emerging Markets Credit Research analyst based in Chicago or Cedar Rapids. You will deliver high quality fundamental credit research on EM corporate issuers across Latin America and share actionable recommendations with portfolio managers on a global platform.

Required: BA and 6–8 years in investment or research roles; preferred MBA, CFA, and Spanish proficiency. Strong Excel and Bloomberg skills are valued, with a compensation range of $145k–$200k plus bonus.

Qualifications

• BA required or equivalent professional experience.
• 6–8 years of experience in the investment industry or related field.
• Experience in a research position is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide value added fundamental analysis of EM corporate fixed‑income issuers in Latin America.
• Gather and analyze data, forecast key metrics and publish outlooks.
• Monitor macroeconomic and market conditions affecting credit quality and prices.
• Communicate buy/avoid trade ideas to portfolio managers and research peers.
• Publish research content and maintain external relationships.
