Aegon Asset Management seeks an Emerging Markets Credit Research Analyst based in Chicago, IL or Cedar Rapids, IA. The role covers EM corporate issuers across industries in Latin America, delivering rigorous credit research and actionable trade ideas to portfolio teams.

You will analyze data, forecast key metrics, and communicate views to global investment professionals. Extensive EM credit experience and strong Excel/Bloomberg proficiency are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA required.
• 6 to 8 years of experience within the investment industry or a closely related industry.
• Experience in a research position.
• MBA preferred.
• CFA Charter preferred; Spanish language proficiency advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide value-added fundamental analysis of EM corporate fixed-income issuers in Latin America.
• Gather and analyze data, forecast metrics, and provide outlooks on EM companies.
• Monitor macroeconomic and market conditions affecting credit quality and prices.
• Communicate defendable trade recommendations to portfolio managers.
• Publish value-added content and reports on covered EM issuers.
• Develop relationships with external experts and research counterparts.
