Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a proactive Security Researcher to join the Counter Adversary Operations Team. You will track Latam-language eCrime actors, gather actionable intelligence from diverse environments, and support finished Intelligence products used by customers.

The role requires OSINT acumen, Latam-language expertise (Spanish/Portuguese) and collaboration with analytics teams to produce timely threat insights and risk assessments. Basic AI-enabled workflow experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Language capabilities including, but not limited to, Spanish and Portuguese.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience in navigating a wide variety of cyber threat actor environments, to include social media, hidden services, and forums.
• Practical knowledge of technical terminology, tools and tactics employed by eCrime actors, particularly Latam-language actors.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collect unique, relevant actionable information to answer established standing and ad hoc requirements related to eCrime actors, especially Latam-language actors.
• Leverage OSINT tradecraft to identify eCrime threat actors and track them in online communities.
• Identify current and emerging cyber threats and trends pertaining to Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Collaborate with teams producing threat estimates pertaining to Latam language threat actors.
• Employ secure virtual operational tradecraft methods and practices.
