Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a self-starting Security Researcher to join the Counter Adversary Operations Team. This role focuses on tracking Latam-language eCrime actors across the deep and dark web and in a wide range of environments, delivering insights used by CrowdStrike customers.

You will work with OSINT tradecraft and AI-driven methods to identify actors, trends, and techniques, collaborating with teams to produce analytical reports and threat estimates.

Qualifications

• Spanish and Portuguese language capabilities.
• OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating diverse cyber threat actor environments including social media, forums and hidden services.
• Familiarity with eCrime groups.
• Practical knowledge of eCrime tools and tactics used by Latam actors.
• Proven ability to use AI to enhance decision making and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Collect relevant actionable information to answer established requirements related to Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Use OSINT tradecraft to follow up on leads and identify eCrime threat actors.
• Identify current and emerging cyber threats and trends pertaining to Latam-language actors.
• Collaborate with teams producing analytical reports and threat estimates pertaining to eCrime topics.
• Employ secure operational tradecraft methods and practices.
