Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking a logistics coordinator to streamline communication between haulers, delivery teams, and client management while on-site to ensure procedures are followed.

The role includes overseeing hauler recruitment, vendor relations, and handling shipping discrepancies to maintain smooth in-home delivery and customer satisfaction. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow of communication between haulers, delivery teams, call center and local client management.
• Provide on-site presence daily/weekly/bi-weekly to ensure teams follow procedures.
• Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of haulers.
• Develop and maintain relations with vendors.
• Ensure follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims.
• Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery for customers.
• Maintain monthly operation reports with statistics and customer service scores.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for coordinating flow for communication between Haulers/Delivery
• Teams/Flatbed Drivers, Call Center and Local Client Management Teams
• Provides on-site presence on daily, weekly, or bi-weekly basis to ensure Haulers/Delivery
• Teams are following procedures
• Oversees recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers
• Develops and maintains relations with vendors
• Ensures follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims
• Interfaces with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery for customers
• Maintains monthly operation reports that include statistics and customer service scores

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as
• discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business and market
• Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities to deal with a variety of problems and come up with creative solutions

Pay Range:

$70,000 - $75,000 per year
