Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. in Topeka, KS is seeking an on-site logistics coordinator to optimize communications among haulers, delivery teams, and client services. The role includes overseeing hauler recruitment and performance, and ensuring adherence to procedures.

You will develop vendor relationships, resolve shipping discrepancies, coordinate in-home deliveries with customers, and produce monthly operation reports with KPI insights.

• Excellent mathematical skills for calculations (discounts, interest, commissions, etc.).
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Essential Functions

• Responsible for coordinating flow for communication between Haulers/Delivery
• Teams/Flatbed Drivers, Call Center and Local Client Management Teams
• Provides on-site presence on daily, weekly, or bi-weekly basis to ensure Haulers/Delivery Teams are following procedures
• Oversees recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers
• Develops and maintains relations with vendors
• Ensures follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims
• Interfaces with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery for customers
• Maintains monthly operation reports that include statistics and customer service scores

• Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business and market
• Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities to deal with a variety of problems and come up with creative solutions

Pay Range

$70,000 - $75,000 per year
